"The Geometric Representation of God, Zero"
In reality, more than zero, the symbol is really the circle, which is the way in which the ancient Egyptians used to represent the solar divinity, or, to be more precise, a circle with a point in the centre. The labyrinthine route symbolizes the spiritual quest. Here all is circular, to recall also the Hindu and Buddhist cycles of birth, death and rebirth. If the four squares in the corners are carefully examined, it can be noted that the decorations inside them develop from the one at the bottom right, gradually following more and more what is the circular movement of the sun; in reality, the exterior forms of the squares represent a circular movement, to further symbolize the illusion of appearance.
